B2B Footwear Manufacturing FAQ
Below are some of the most common questions we receive from global footwear brands, wholesalers, and retail buying teams about sample development, OEM and private label projects, bulk production, sourcing support, MOQ, lead times, and communication in China.
Partnership and Project Fit
Absolutely. Let’s be honest: every factory values large, stable orders because they provide operational security and higher margins. However, we also know that every global giant was once a startup. We deeply value the “Small but Sincere” partners. For us, the sincerity of cooperation is just as important as the order size. Whether you are a mature brand, a cross-border e-commerce seller (Amazon, eBay, Shopify), or a boutique store owner, we are here to grow with you. If you have a clear vision, do not hesitate to contact us regardless of your current scale.
We work with global footwear brands, wholesalers, distributors, retail buying teams, and private label buyers across different footwear categories and project structures.
As of the end of 2025, our main client distribution is as follows:
USA & Canada: 29.5%
Japan: 22.1%
Europe: 21.8%
Australia: 13.5%
New Zealand: 10.6%
We welcome partnerships from a wide range of markets and support projects with different quality, communication, and logistics requirements.
Sample Development and Prototyping
Yes. We support sample development based on tech packs, sketches, reference images, or existing sample shoes. Depending on the project stage, we can review structure, materials, last direction, and manufacturability before moving into sampling.
Yes. Some buyers start with a completed tech pack, while others begin with a concept, mood board, or reference product. We can support practical discussion on structure, materials, and product balance before the sample is developed.
We do not set a rigid limit. In many projects, there may be several rounds of internal adjustment before the sample is sent out. In practice, 3 to 5 internal refinements can be involved depending on the style, fit, and development difficulty. Each round may take about a week, so new molds or more complex constructions can require longer development timelines.
Yes. Depending on the project, we always provide sample progress updates through photos or videos automatically. To help keep the process efficient, we usually recommend that buyers consolidate feedback clearly after reviewing the sample materials.
To start more efficiently, buyers typically provide one or more of the following:
- design drafts, sketches, or CADs
- reference images or reference products
- material preferences and color direction
- logo details and branding requirements
- heel height, outsole direction, or sizing standard
- target market, price positioning, or project brief
Yes. It is common for footwear projects to go through one or more rounds of refinement after the first sample. Depending on the type of revision, changes may involve materials, structure, fit, or overall visual balance.
Yes. For existing or previously produced styles, we can support design upgrades and adjustments based on new market needs, updated materials, fit improvements, or revised product direction.
OEM, Private Label, and Production
Yes. We support OEM footwear projects for buyers who have original concepts, reference products, or established product specifications that need to be developed and produced in China.
Yes. We support private label footwear projects that require branding coordination, material adjustments, sample development, and production follow-up.
Yes. Depending on the project, we can support branding-related details such as logos, branded insoles, labels, shoeboxes, dust bags, and selected packaging items.
Once the sample direction is confirmed, the project can move into production planning. This typically includes material confirmation, timeline coordination, construction follow-up, and final detail alignment before bulk execution.
Our MOQ depends on the design, material, and production setup. In many cases, the standard range is 100 to 300 pairs per style, while for some projects, we may be able to go lower, to around 30 pairs, depending on the material situation and project type.
Inventory Strategy: If a specific material requires a high supplier MOQ, we can purchase it in bulk once and spread it across multiple smaller orders over time. This reduces your capital pressure, allowing you to focus on sales while we manage the supply chain.
Bulk production often ranges from around 30 to 45 days after final sample approval, depending on the project, materials, order volume, and production schedule. Earlier planning is always helpful for smoother delivery.
Yes. In some cases, Minor updates may be aligned directly into production, while more structural or comfort-related revisions may require additional confirmation before bulk execution moves forward.
Quality Control, Sourcing, and Communication
Yes. We support practical quality follow-up during production and before shipment to help reduce avoidable issues related to workmanship, materials, finishing, pair consistency, and packing. We will send images and videos during production.
Depending on the project, we may conduct an internal pre-production review using bulk-intended materials and confirmed construction details before full production begins. This helps identify potential issues earlier in the process.
Yes. Depending on the project, we always provide progress updates through communication records, photos, or videos so buyers have better visibility during production.
Yes, in selected cases. Beyond core footwear manufacturing, we also support broader sourcing and coordination requests when buyers need more local follow-up across related or cross-category suppliers in China.
We commonly communicate through Email, WhatsApp, video call, and WeChat, depending on the buyer’s workflow and project needs.
Yes. NDA support is available for confidentiality-sensitive projects involving designs, materials, branding details, or production-related information.
